Our podcast series My Friend Ted was nominated for a 2021 Webby Award.
My Friend Ted is a 5 part podcast series about Ted Stehr from New Westminster, Canada.
Recorded over the course of a year, it’s the story of Ted and his family journey after Ted was diagnosed with ALS (also known as MND, Motor Neurone Disease).
The series was been singled out as one of the five best in the world in its category (it’s among the top 10% of the nearly 13,500 record-breaking projects entered from around the world) and is competing for the Internet’s two most coveted awards: The Webby Award and The Webby People’s Voice Award.
We’re thrilled to be nominated, and would like to congratulate the winners in this category:
Chronicled: Who Is Kamala Harris from the San Francisco Chronicle won the juried award. What A Change, from Spotify, won the People’s Choice award. Also in this category are superb podcasts by Blue Wire Podcasts and Paradiso US. All of these docs are fascinating and we know Ted would be honoured to be in their company.
